Kitchen Manager (Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers)

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is hiring an experienced and reliable Kitchen Manager for one of our Phoenix-area locations!



Kitchen Managers play an important role supporting our General Managers by overseeing the overall operation in the back of house of our restaurant. The ideal Kitchen Manager will lead and inspire staff, be highly organized and most importantly, ensure that all guests have an outstanding experience.



-Ensures that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen area at all times

-Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, schedules and provides ongoing development of kitchen staff

-Ensures superior quality and execution of recipe standards

-Places food and supply orders

-Conducts inventory per company policy

-Completes line checks to ensure all stations are stocked with quality food equipment

-Monitors and improves food and labor costs

-Works directly with Corporate Chef



-Must be available 50-55 hours per week, afternoon and evening hours only, including weekends.

-Minimum of 2 years experience in kitchen supervisor position

-Strong oral and written communication skills

-Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

-Must have a Food Handler's card

-Liquor Certification

-High School diploma or equivalent

-Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred

-Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes

-Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements

-Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and staff

-Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs

-Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day

-Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

-Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 6 hours in length

-Ability to work calm and effectively under pressure


-Salaried, exempt position
